Saturday, June 2nd, 2001. Much, much more digging. Today we started the drain on the lowest point of the trench. When the water flows through the trenches this is where it gets out. We're going to fill the drain with gravel and top soil, and possibly plant some plants on the top.

So here is the drain. It's a big half circle and must be deeper than the deepest part of the trenches. At this point this means it must be pretty deep, so digging the drain takes a long time. |
