Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001. More work on the second layer but the progress remains very slow. There is this particular gap where the difference in height is so great, we really have a hard time finding rocks that will bridge it. It's really not acceptable to use chinkers on more than one corners, as such set up will not be stable.
