Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001. Having a full weekend of working on the land is physically demanding for us city slickers, and we stopped stacking the rocks in the morning because we were tired. But then, we started mortaring this weekend's newly stacked foundation, and that took much longer than we thought. We were more productive than we even realized, stacking so many rocks in one weekend! By the time we finished mortaring it was early in the evening.
