Wednesday, November 21, 2001. We are using the Thanksgiving holidays to make some progress on the land. We were excited about cobbing, but realized that there were a lot of other works still to be done before we can concentrate on the wall building. Northern foundation is close to being finished, but west and east aren't. Eastern wall needs its main door frame, while the western needs a door frame and a toilet plumbing done. We made progress on all front, however.

Our southern wall has a very sexy curve to it... well, it was of course unintentional, just the way the rocks fit together underneath. This is absolutely not a problem, however. |

Here is a look at the northern foundation, from the last remaining of the ground surface. Notice how high the foundation has become! It is almost done - just one or two more layers. |
