Thursday, December 20, 2001. Further cobbing. We're about 1.5-2 feet above the floor level now. Although we started cobbing on the south side first, it's actually higher on the northern side because we have the foundation much higher on that side. At about 2.5 feet above the floor we'll make a groove all the way around to run electrical wires.
Terri put the final coat of linseed oil on the door frame. Now we're going to put some nails on its sides and start cobbing up to it.

Ari is taking a nap in the house. Although it's very bright on sunny days and the gravel floor is very uncomfortable, it's become our latest tradition to take a quick nap in the house right after lunch. He always says that he doesn't think he can fall asleep in such a condition, but 3 minutes after laying down he's fast asleep. This picture is taken through the door frame. |
