Tuesday, December 25, 2001. Merry Christmas! Our work continues even on a holiday. (well, Terri's been off since last week, and Ari is self-employed, so...) Today we worked on the western foundation, the final bit of foundation left. Now that the plumbing is completed and glued together, we are finally able to put some rocks down. But we're getting a little low on big rocks, so the resulting foundation doesn't look quite as good as the other sides, although it should still be very secure.
We tried to put more cob also. We're working on cobbing in the main door frame. We stick nails onto the sides of the door frame and cob onto them. It's really fun and it goes fast, but we also have to be careful not to poke our hands with the nails.
