Friday, January 4, 2002. Happy New Year! Cold weather kept us from working on our land, but today was a little warmer -- still chilly but more manageable. Today we focused on getting the western wall ready for cobbing. We put up the last of the rocks and also we completed the foundation for what will be a cob bench inside the house. And that's it -- we're all done with the rocks! Hooray! We stacked up the unused rocks in one pile with the exception of some rocks that we're using to hold rain covers on the walls and the doors.
