Saturday, January 12, 2002. It was a gorgeous day! Our friend Tom and the Omikawas (this time Kayoko, Nobuki and Aki) came and helped us in the morning. This is the third time Omikawas come out, and each time different set of family members come. But every time all of them have a great time!
In the afternoon we did put in the second window frame. This is a 3'x3' window, which looks huge in this little place. Between the first and the second window we have 2-3 feet of wall, and all the sudden looking at that column inspired us lots of ideas of what to do with that small wall space. In our little home we will have very little actual wall because it's so jam packed with functional stuff, but this may present a rare opportunity to make something pretty. But we don't know exactly what yet.
